to fill the following position:

  • Information System Security Officer

employment for an indefinite period with a probationary period of 6 months – place of work in Sarajevo

  1. Required conditions for performing the tasks of the said position:
Professional qualifications: Vss Technical/Informatics/Economics
Required work experience: Three (3) years of work experience in the same or similar jobs

Jobs and work tasks: 

  • In addition to the legal requirements and specific conditions prescribed by the Banking Agency of the FBiH, the business and work tasks of the Information Security Officer are: 
  • Organization of information security through proposals of policies, procedures, standards and work instructions of the Bank
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of compliance with policies and regulatory requirements in the field of information security
  • Analysis and assessment of risks related to information security
  • Creating and implementing a program of raising awareness of information security in the Bank, and supervision and control of employee work related to the implementation of measures 
  • Design, implementation and maintenance of information systems security solutions for the following areas:
  • Control of access rights
  • Managing information security incidents
  • Operation and monitoring of SIEM solutions
  • Establishing a DLP system
  • Protection and classification of information
  • Penetration testing and vulnerability management
  • Active participation in projects and analysis of projects and risks from a security point of view
  • Participation in planning, implementation and supervision of materially significant outsourced activities
  • Launching initiatives (e.g. improving existing functionalities of the information system, introducing new technological solutions, improving the security of the information system)
  • Planning employee education regarding the security of information systems
  • Supervision and control of the work of Bank employees in connection with the implementation of measures for the protection of information
  • Participates in the coordination of activities related to business continuity, and participates in the design, development and implementation of business continuity plans with business owners
  • Performs other tasks by order of the President of the Management Board/Management Board of the Bank

 Responsibility:

  • Conscientious and professional performance of tasks within its scope of work and other entrusted tasks and performing tasks within working groups, committees, teams and other coordination mechanisms within the Bank
  • Efficient and reasonable use of the Bank's resources in the performance of professional tasks

Additional requirements:

  • Active knowledge of English
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Work in an MS Office suite
  • Experience in creating and implementing security policies and protocols, business procedures
  • Desirable possession of certificates in the field of information security and business continuity
  • Driver's license category B
