Notice for pension payments

Pursuant to the Decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH on the declaration of an accident caused by the occurrence of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the territory of the Federation of BiH, V. No. 408/2020 of 16.3.2020. and the Order of the Federal Staff of Civil Protection No. 12-40-6-148-34/20 of 20.3.2020. is prohibited movement of persons under the age of 18 and older than 65 years in the territory of the Federation of BiH.

By adopting these measures, persons aged 65 and over (recipients of domestic and foreign pensions and other social benefits through accounts with commercial banks), as well as beneficiaries of pensions and other social benefits who have been issued the Decision of the competent authority on self-isolation, hereinafter: Beneficiaries, have difficultaccess to their own funds in bank accounts.

This applies in particular to Users who have not authorized other persons to dispose of funds in the account or have authorized persons aged 65 and over, and to Users who do not own payment cards or have expired.

Consequently, taking into account the extraordinary circumstances and the very difficult situation in society caused by the occurrence of the viral disease COVID-19, Privredna banka Sarajevo d.d. Sarajevo has enabled the possibility of disbursing funds related to pension/pension/certain social benefits in the Bank premises to an authorized person, based on a one-time power of attorney by which the said person is authorized.

On this occasion, the Bank will not require a power of attorney certification, but will carry out a verification of the power of attorney issued through communication means in order to be able to realize the disbursement of funds.

The power of attorney issued by the User is one-time and is valid for only one transaction. In this way, funds from the account can be withdrawn a maximum of one time. Exceptionally, the User can declare through the telephone line for communication with the bank that he does not want the funds to be paid in this way.

In addition to this method of payment of pensions, the Bank invites everyone who is able to open a debit card and thus receive their pension free of charge from the comfort of their home.
