Notice on withdrawal of CURRENCY HRK from circulation

Dear clients, 

We hereby inform you that the Government of the Republic of Croatia has made a decision to announce the introduction of EUR as the official currency in the Republic of Croatia, by which the CURRENCY HRK (Croatian kuna) will be withdrawn from circulation from January 1, 2023, and cease to be valid as an official means of payment. Accordingly, the Bank suspends the purchase and sale of the effective currency HRK until the date 30.11.2022.

Cashless payments, as well as conversions to and from the currency HRK (Croatian kuna) will be possible in bank branches and via electronic banking of the Bank until 28.12.2022. 

On December 29, 2022, the Bank will convert the existing balance of clients' deposits from HRK to EUR.
