Safe – Deposit Boxes

Safe deposit box is a metal box embedded in a special, safe and protected area of the Bank – the vault or in special safes – cash registers.

In our Agency in Sarajevo, at Obala Kulina Bana 18  one can rent safe deposit boxes for storing valuables, securities and various files.

The client can be:

• An adult person – with the ability to grant power of attorney to other adult person to using safe deposit box
• The legal entity or one or two private individuals authorized to safe handling of safe deposit box. Safe  deposit box can be rented for a period of 3, 6 and 12 months.

The fee for the use of safe deposit boxes

The fee for use of the safe deposit boxes is paid in advance for the entire term.
The fee depends on the size of the safe.

Access to a safe deposit box

Access is possible only during the bank working hours – half an hour after the opening until  half an hour before closing the branch – in the presence of a bank officer. Safe has two security locks. The key to one lock keeps the user of the deposit box, but the key to the other lock is owned by the bank, so that the box can be opened only jointly. Safe can be opened only with the simultaneous opening of both locks. Bank official has to be present at the opening and closing of the vault. The officer leaves the room of safe deposit box to allow privacy. The contents of safe deposit box is available and known only to the renter or his representative.

Access to the safe is possible every working day between 8:00 to 16:00 pm, except Saturday.
